AccorHotels Group as one of the most prestigious hotel groups, and 1st Hotel Operator across the world has entered into a memorandum of understanding with HEGTA in Tehran HOMA Hotel.
This MoU signed after new several rounds of talks, includes long-term cooperation to develop hotels, to renovate existing HOMA hotels to the modern standards, to promote the newly rebranded HOMA hotels across the world as well as a special focus on training and human resources training and development.
This MoU was signed in Tehran HOMA Hotel by Dr. Ebrahim Bay Salami, HEGTA Managing Director, and Christophe Landais, Chief Operating Officer AccorHotels Iran, to pave the way for Iran tourism development.
Having signed the MoU, Dr. Ebrahim Bay Salami highlighted the HEGTA plans for developing tourism in Iran: "HEGTA as the leading and largest tourism company in Iran, in line with its mission, aims to push Iran tourism industry to its boundaries with the help of tourism world leaders’’.
Pointing to HEGTA future plans, Dr. Ebrahim Bay Salami asserted: "our cooperation with internationally recognized brands such as AccorHotels will be shaped considering cultural aspects and Iranian-Islamic appeals of the nation. Besides, the HOMA Hotels Group as a major hotel chain in Iran will be promoted jointly’’.

Sébastien Bazin, Accor chairman, in his recent visit to Iran met with Iran tourism authorities and Iran Social Security Organization as the owner of HOMA Hotels Chain.
Christophe Landais in his remarks put emphasis on this prominent cooperation with HEGTA as an important and essential step for transferring international hospitality standards, know-how and technology to Iran.
Christophe Landais concluded: "we are very enthusiastic to cooperate and join forces with HEGTA. Iran has been granted with so many prominent assets let it be cultural, historical, archaeological, geographical, ecological, economical ... We view Iran to become the first regional destination as well as one of the top five global destinations for both leisure and business, therefore within the topmost strategic country for AccorHotels development where our brands portfolio from economy to luxury have considerable potential''.
