The Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific (2018) launched in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with collaboration of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and the Malaysian Social Security Organization. This forum which takes place with the presence of a delegation from Iranian Social Security Organization (ISSO) including Mr. Mohsen Sorkhoo - Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Reza Kashef - Director General of the International Affairs Department, and Mr. Ali Moayeri - Director General of the ICT Department, will last till 4th October 2018.
The triennial Forum is the most important social security event in the region. A key networking opportunity which provides a unique platform for CEOs and senior managers of ISSA member institutions to discuss key social security challenges, be inspired by innovative solutions and define strategies to shape the future of social security in Asia and the Pacific.
The Forum programme will cover the following areas:
Day 1: Ten key challenges for social security in Asia and the Pacific, and Presentation of the ISSA Good Practice Award for Asia and the Pacific.
Day 2: Excellence in social security administration, and Celebrating Achievements, Looking to the Future.
Day 3: Innovative solutions to shape the future of sustainable social security in the region
A highlight of the Forum will be the ISSA Good Practice Award for Asia and the Pacific recognizing achievements in the region.
