Mr. Mohammad Hassan Zeda - Acting Managing Director of the Iranian Social Security Organization (ISSO), in a meeting with Mr. Anton Drozdov - Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Russian Federation (PFR), besides providing information on the role and performance of the ISSO said that the ISSO provides 18 different types of insurance benefits and medical services to more than half of the whole population of the country.
The ISSO Acting Managing Director, visiting PFR also added: “In addition to providing medical services and paying retirement pension to about 3.5 million retirees and pensioners, the ISSO is committed to enhance work and production process and to support productive forces of the Country”.
Emphasizing on the ISSO approach to use updated technical insurance knowledge and provide modern technology-base service provision, Mr. Zeda said: “Active cooperation with the ISSA as a Bureau member as well as benefitting from the ISSA Guidelines and instructions indicate the endeavor of the ISSO to elevate service quality and level of contentedness of the beneficiaries of this Organization. We have extended social security coverage to foreign nationals working in Iran and Iranian nationals residing abroad as well”.
The Acting Managing Director of the ISSO counted bilateral agreements concluded with DGUV, Social Security Institution of Republic of Turkey and Republic of Korea as some successful ways to exchange experiences between the ISSO and other insurance providing entities.
“We are fully prepared to share our knowledge and experience with the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation”, he concluded.
Mr. Drozdov - Chairman of the Board of Pension Fund of Russian Federation (PFR) - extending his pleasure to host Mr. Zeda in Moscow, said: “Your background in providing services to half of the population of the Islamic Republic of Iran indicates successful performance of the ISSO”.
“I hope mutual cooperation of the two organizations in technical and professional knowledge sharing in various social security fields”, he emphasized.
Mr. Zeda was accompanied by his Chief Deputy, Mr. Reza Raei (PhD).
